Lemon Rice (Chitranna)

  Dear friends,      Today I am here to share with you a famous south Indian delicacy " Lemon Rice".This is a South Indian staple, in tamil lemon rice in known as 'elumichai saadam". In Karnataka Lemon Rice known as "Chitranna". Lemon Rice is especially popular in South indian state karnataka, where it has become a part of the daily diet. So let's start making lemon rice without wasting anymore time. Ingredients:- 1. Basmati Rice- 2 cups. 2. Oil- 2-1/2 tbsp. 3. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp. 4. Bengal Gram(chana dal)- 2tsp. 5.   Dear friends,    Today I am here to share with a famous delicacy of Hyderabad,' Haleem;' Before that, I would like to share with you the story related to the dish. It is believed that haleem is actually an Arabic delicacy.                In Hyderabad, this delicacy was introduced by Nizam Mahbub Ali Khan. Later this dish became popular during the seventh Nizam(Mir Osman Ali Khan's) court.
