  Dear friends,     How are you all? Hope you all are fine!  Today I am here to represent a traditional pancake like recipe. Before that would like to share with you few information related to this dish. This is a popular Bengali dessert. During mid- January, Poush month of the Bengali calendar ends. That day called the "Poush Sankranti". Considered to be a holy day so it is celebrated by most Hindus in India. As it is a celebration of new harvest, foods which have rice in it becomes the center point. This ritual is very prevalent in the Bangladeshi community too. Ingredients:- For outer part:- 1.   Hello readers,      Today I will share you the process of making "Maryland Crab Cakes". Maryland is located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the east coast of the United States. Maryland is known for fishing and it produces the most blue Crabs in the United States. Ingredients:- 1. Jumbo lump crab meat- 450g. 2. Butter- 2tbsp.(melted). 3. Old Bay- 1-1/2tsp. 4. Worcestershire sauce- 2tsp. 5. Mayonnaise- 2-1/2tbsp. 6. Celery-1/4cup (finely chopped). 7. Fresh parsley- 2tbsp(finely chopped). 8. Lemon juice- 1tsp. 9. Dijon mustard- 1-1/2 tsp. 10. Before share you the recipe let me tell you the history behind Idli. According food historian T.K Acharya Idli could have come to India around 800-1200CE from present day 'Indonesia', a part of which was then ruled by Hindu Kings belonging to "Shailendra"," Isyana" and " Sanjaya" dynasties. Plain Butter Cake

  Hello readers,    Today I will share with you "Butter cake " recipe. This is very famous in 'Malaysia'. So let's start! Ingredients:- 1. Cake flour- 200 gm. 2. Caster sugar- 1 cup. 3. Unsalted butter- 330 gm( soften). 4. Eggs-4 pieces. 5. Full milk or yogurt- 4 tbsp. 6. Baking powder-1 tsp. 7. Vanilla extract- 1 tsp. Preparation Method:- Step 1- Take a bowl and mixed all dry ingredients ( cake flour, salt, baking powder) set aside. Step 2- Take another bowl mix the butter and caster sugar together by creaming method with a wire whisk at high speed for 3 minutes until fluffy,light, creamy and became pale yellow. My Favourite Cake Recipe - "Black Forest Cake"

Original name of this cake is 'Schwarzwalder Krisch(wassen).This cake originated in late 16th century in the black forest region(der schwarzland in German)located in the state of Baden- wattemberg, and features one of its main crop, cherries. The South Indian Delicacy - "Appam (Hopper)"

image source Hello readers,       Today I'm going to share a famous South Indian recipe called "Appam (Hoppers)".This is a bowl shaped pancake; some says that it's originated from 'Jewish Community' of India. Ingredients: 1. Regular Basmati Rice- 2 cups. 2. Parboiled Rice - 1 cup. 3. Coconut milk- 1 cup. 4. Grated coconut- 1/2 cup. 5. Granulated sugar- 1/2 cup. 6. Sugar -1 tsp. 7. Dry active yeast - 1/2 tsp. 8. Salt- To taste. 9. Oil - As per required( to drizzle appam). Preparation Method: Step 1- One day before making Hoppers, Rinse both the rice varieties together and Soak them in water for 4-5 hours. Step 2- Take 1/2 cup warm water, add 1 tsp sugar, dry active yeast and mix them well and cover the bowl. Set aside for 15 minutes. This is a very popular sweet dish in India and also in some neighboring country such as Nepal & Bangladesh, but in different form & name. A good 'Malpua' should have crispy edges and soft in centre. This dish mainly made during 'Teej' and 'Raksha Bandhan' in the month of August. Today I'll share with you "Malai Ghewar" recipe. So let's start! Equipment: 1. Heavy bottom pan. 2.
