Famous Maharashtrian Dessert- Puran Poli

  Dear friends,     Today I am here with another famous delicacy of Maharashtra(India), Puran Poli. The famous delicacy; is specially made by the Marathi during the Gudi padwa and Holi festival. This dessert is also famous apart from Maharashtra in Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu. But the stuffing and ingredients of the delicacy are different. This dish is one of the old dishes mentioned in a 12th-century Sanskrit concordance collected by SomeshvaraIII, who conducted from present-day Karnataka.     So friends, let's start making Puran Poli.   Hello friends,     Today I will share you a famous dessert of Bihar (India) "Thekua". A Bihari favorite, thekua is an important part of the festivities of "Chhat".In Bihar, the festival of Chhat is celebrated to worship the Sun. Thekua is sweetmeat, prepared as an offering to the Sun God on Chhat. The reason that the thekua is preferred as prasad is because it is made of healthy ingredients. The word thekua, comes from the verb 'thokna' literally meaning 'to hammer'. The process of making this cookie involves pressing the dough hard against a wooden mould.   Hello friends,       Today I am going to share the preperation process of "Nolen Gurer Payesh". This is a famous dessert of West Bengal, specially made in winter season. Before sharing the recipe would like share the story behind the dessert 'Payesh'.   Hello readers,      Today I came to share with you a famous dessert recipe "Rasmalai".It is believed to have originated somewhere in eastern India. Presumably in the Odisha and Bengal region. Ingredients:- 1. Full fat milk- 5 cups. 2. Fresh cream-1 cup. 3. Lemon juice or vinegar- 5 tbsp(mix with 3tbsp water). 4. Baking powder- A pinch. For sugar syrup:- 1. Sugar-1-1/2 cup. 2. Water- 4cup. 3. Cardamom powder-1/2 tsp. 4. Rose water- 1/2tsp. For Malai:- 1. Full fat milk- 4cups. 2. Saffron- 8-10 strands. 3. Sugar- 3-4tbsp. 4. Pistachios- 3tbsp(crushed).   Hello readers,        Yesterday I got to know about a food contest in" Foodies bee hive" so I thought why don't I share one of my mother's dessert recipe " Chanar payesh" " Chana" means cottage cheese, cooked in milk. So let's start! Ingredients:- 1. Full cream Milk- 1 lite.+ 500 ml. 2. Fresh cream- 1/2 cup. 3. Lemon juice- 1 tbsp( or as required). 4. Sugar - 1 cup+ 2 tbsp + 1 tsp. 5. Water- 5 cups. 6. Italian Dessert - "Pistachio Panna Cotta"

This is a traditional dessert of northern Italian region of Piedmont, "Panna cotta" in Italian means "cooked cream". One unverified source says that Panna cotta was invented by a Hungarian woman in the 'langhe' in the early 1900s. Ingredients: 1. Heavy cream- 500 ml. 2. Sugar-80 gm. 3. Milk- 100 ml. 4.
