Chicken lollipop

 


Hello readers,

      Today I am going to share you the process to make "Chicken Lollipop". So let's start! Today I won't take your much time so I am directly going for the recipe!

Ingredients:-

1. Chicken wings-6 pieces (full size).

2. Vegetable oil-500ml(for frying).

For Marination:-

1. Red chili powder- 2tsp.

2. Ginger-Garlic paste- 2tbsp.

3. Black pepper powder- 1/2tsp.+1/2tsp.

4. Soy sauce- 2tbsp.

5. Salt- 1 tsp.

For Batter:-

1. All purpose flour- 1/2 cup.

2. Corn flour- 1/2 cup.

3. Red Chili powder- 1tbsp.

4. Egg-1 (raw- beaten)

5. Butter milk- 1-1/2 cups.

6. Garam Masala powder- 1/2 tsp.

Spices for seasoning:-

1. Onion- 1 small (finely chopped).

2. Ginger-3/4 tbsp(minced).

3. Garlic- 3/4 tbsp (minced).

4. Vinegar- 1tsp.

5. Red chili sauce- 1 tbsp.

6. Sugar-1tsp.

7. Salt-To taste

For Garnishing:-

1. Celery or spring onion- 2-1/2 tbsp chopped.

Preparation Method:-

Step 1- Slice a full size chicken wing to three portions along the joints. Discard the wing-up.

Step 2- To get drummetts ,cut along the circumference of the thin end so that the bone and the meat are no longer connected. Then push down the meat so drummet becomes a lollipop.

Step 3- For winglet( the middle, two- bone part of the wing) separate where the two bones join. Also cut along the circumference of both ends, so the bone and the meat are no longer connected. Take out the thinner bone. Push down the meat into one end of the thinner bone. 

Step 4- Now add butter milk in a bowl. Transfer the chicken into the bowl mix well and cover the bowl. Set aside for 1 hour.

Step 5- After 1 hour Drain Butter milk, Pat the chicken pieces with paper towels.

Step 6- Now transfer the chicken drummers in a bowl. Add red chili powder, ginger-garlic paste,garam Masala powder,black pepper Powder (1/2tep),Soy sauce(1tbsp), vinegar (1/2tsp),salt. Mix well all spices with chicken and set aside for 30 minutes.

Step 7- Next Take another bowl, now add all purpose flour, corn flour,salt, remaining black pepper, egg. Add little water and mix well till get a thick batter.

Step 8- Take a deep fry pan add sufficient oil, dip the marinated lollypops in the batter and deep fry in hot oil till golden. Drain on kitchen paper.

Step 9- Now heat another fry pan add 1-1/2 tsp oil,once oil heated well add grated onion, ginger mince,garlic mince. Saute until aromatic. Now add red chilli sauce,sugar, vinegar,soy sauce stir well, taste to check balance of sauce. If anything required can add in this stage. Stir well until sauce thickened.

Step 10- Now add fried chicken lollipop into the pan. Toss well to coat the sauce with chicken. Turn off flame.

Step 11- Transfer into serving plate and garnish with celery or spring.

Step 12- Now it's ready to eat.
